One of my favourite Avett Brothers songs, and off of my favourite live album of theirs. Not a video, just an audio clip, but from an awesome live album recorded in a tiny bar somewhere. The whole album is full of dialogue between tracks and shouts and hollerin' from the drunk audience, it's amazing.

Anyway. Today was ok, though when I got home I was kinda in a bad mood again. I think things averaged out for me now though. Work was good, though only 2/7 people didn't show up. Sheesh, it's a holiday people! I certainly wouldn't have been there if I hadn't already used today's vacation time a few weeks' ago. Oh well, managed to get a lot done since we were still effectively closed. The Targa racing course passed through our town today, so the roads were shut down while race cars, well, raced through them. So no clients coming in, and very few phone calls, it was awesome. Negotiated a plea bargain, so no big 2 day trial for me next week, yay! And exchanged a few letters too, good times.

Then tonight we had a surprise birthday party for the boss. It was fun, tons of people there. I got to talk golf with some of the guys there, they're playing in this weekend's club tournament. You have to be a member to play and, well, it helps to be good too. XD I wanna hit the driving range sometime though, as it's getting late in the year and time's running out. I really would like to play an actual round again too, if possible. We'll see.

When I came home, I was all happy and in a good mood, but it turns out that a.) the FFVII:AC video I downloaded wasn't subtitled (ok, it was, but the subtitles were in Japanese :/) b.) the software I used to record Survivor taped over an hour of the bloody tv guide channel somehow, and c.) an e-mail I had been waiting for from happy_melody must've been trashed recently or overlooked by me somehow. Grrr. I get so few e-mails that I hate to lose the real ones. -.-;

Anyway, I'm feeling better now, and it's late, so I should head to bed. Tomorrow's Friday, thank heavens. Not that I have anything fun and exciting planned for the weekend, but the rest will be nice. May even try to hit the driving range tomorrow right after work, if I can remember to.
