canadiandiamondSo ends yet another busy weekend. It was very good though, and I got a lot done. Friday right after work I went home and packed up, heading into the city to hang out with the guys for a little guys-only party for one of them that's having a kid soon. It was nice, and I think for the 13-14 guys that were there we went through 10.5 dozen beer. XD I was only .5 of that, for the record. Still, fun!
Saturday I got up and went to an early matinee of the new Fantastic Four movie which I did not like that much. I won't go into details or spoil things here, but yeah, not that impressed. After that I hung out at the mall for a few hours, picked up this old Beastie Boys cd for like $8 (Licensed To Ill, woo! I used to have it on tape!) and then picked up BBQ supplies for the 4pm BBQ at Joni and Alex's. We had that, enjoying the beautiful sunny weather (I even got a slight tan!) and then went to the Comedy Festival which was pretty fun. Then we came back to J&A's and had a little fire in the back yard, played some The Price Is Right on DVD and watched a lil' tv before calling it a night. Good times!
Today was just laziness, me hanging out at my sister's place and hooking this laptop up to the wireless network to catch up on e-mail and things. The family came in and we hung out, then had supper and I popped back over to J&A's to get a cd back, watching the end of Happy Gilmore with them before coming back home and voila! Here I am.
Tomorrow I have court and I'm pretty nervous about it actually, it's not a typical appearance. It'll be ok though, I'm sure, it always is. I just hate thinking about it right before it happens, so I'm off to talk to a few more people online in hopes of forgetting about it again before falling to sleep. :D
