canadiandiamondSo, even more music today. I knew that the new Snow Patrol album was coming out, but upon arriving at Wal-Mart I see that there's a new Paul Simon album out too. He's one of those artists whose work I'll pick up without hesitation (yes, I have a lot of those, stfu), so you can add those two to the Buddy Wasisname album I got in the mail yesterday, the new Pearl Jam from last week and the new Springsteen from the week before that, none of which I've properly absorbed yet. It usually takes me a few good listens to get into an album, and I've got ones from even before those that still haven't set in yet, oy. (Sam Roberts, the Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, etc.) It's all good though, more to listen to now. And I'll be able to test them all out on the next 3 hour drive to the city, I suppose.
Work was ok, though super busy again. And it won't let up anytime soon, I don't think. I was supposed to have a trip to court again tomorrow for a quick appearance to get a new trial date, but the boss has some applications to do so he has to go, and will do mine for me. No sense in me wasting my time if he has to, sometimes he has easy stuff and I get delegated to do it, but his matter is more involved so I'll be the one staying. Kinda sucks, since a quick trip to court pretty much eats up the whole morning, which is nice. Ah well, hopefully I'll get more things done if I stay in the office.
Other than that, I spoke to one of my old friends on MSN tonight and have convinced him to download and try out WoW, hehe. It's funny, as when I got this computer 2+ years ago he mailed me SWG on the very same day I got it, and we played that together in a group with others for like 6+ months straight. Now I'm getting him into something, which is cool. And while it's fun now, it'll be even more fun once he gets into it. Good times!
