canadiandiamond...but instead here's my Top 10 RP characters I've played. :)
10. h_l!Casper - I really liked the idea of Casper. Whether or not I executed that idea properly, I don't know, but I kinda wish I had more time to get used to using him. It was fun to play someone who's a huge music fan too, as the only time I'd bring that up in my other chars was to say that they had crappy musical tastes (ie Caleb), so it didn't seem like I was trying to put too much of me into the char. One of the younger characters I've had too, which I must confess I find too hard to do. Maybe it was the hard time I had with btx!Rusty but I've been turned off from playing younger people. *shurgs*
9. u_g!Ali - Ok, I didn't really get to use her that much, but for some reason I just really loved this one. I'd love to find another game to use her in, but that's not a good idea for me right now I don't think. Maybe some day. I think the character resonates more with me than I thought she would, again maybe it's the music angle I mentioned above. It was fun while it lasted!
8. x_c!Sam - I'm still struggling a little to find his voice, even after playing him for almost half a year or so now, heh. It's the longest Sam I've ever had though, the other two were in games that died either before starting or very, very shortly after starting, oy. So I guess the 3rd time's the charm! He's not very exciting or anything but I do like the whole innocence thing he has going for him. Can't wait to interact with Paige more and Tabby once she joins. :D
7. m_h!Forge - This one was a spur of the moment decision when I first gave in and app'd for m_h. Definitely not the usual character I play (hey, he's not a Bobby! :o!) but I've grown to really like him. He's more streetwise and used to living on his own than any of my other characters. I'm afraid that intertwining him with Marie-Ange, while very, very awesome to rp so much with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
technis, has slowed him down (or worse, both of them). I'm a little lost with what to do with him next.
6. d_x!Bobby / d_x! Warren - Ok, so I'm cheating here and putting them both in here. It's just that I'm so lost in this game with both of them, so it fits. Both are my oldest characters, and there's no kidding myself, I couldn't lose either one of them. But I apparently can't use them well either! XD They've both been through a looooooooot and are still recovering / suffering in their own ways.onetrulou made some good points in my last char meme and I need to work on that sometime soon. They've just been around so long that they're inseperable from my rping hobby, I think.
5. h_l!Susan - Susan, Susan, Susan. Definitely the shyest / most innocent character I've played, and she still interacted with a ton of people despite this. Much ♥ toangisageek, plainsong_x and vagabond_sal for that giant, confusing, lovely mess we had there. XD It took me awhile to get used to her, but I really do miss her lately. ._.
4. t_g!Scott - I think he's the first character I've ever stepped into after someone else played him. And it lasted a heck of a lot longer than I thought it would! He was also my first big-name character, I think at the time I had my btx chars and Neal / Thunderbird III in t_g, so no huge canon players before him. And this is frickin' Cyclops, so yeah, I was a little intimidated about it all. Especially because the very first arc he had? Was a Phoenix infested Jean coming back with a new lover after he thought she was dead. XDDDDDDDD Oncevelvetglitter left and someone else took over Jean, it just wasn't the same. It was fun while it lasted though.
3. tnc!Caleb - Oh Caleb. Probably my most well received character, and yet not quite my favourite. I do think he's my most original one though, and I don't know about y'all but Emile Hirsch = Caleb Parks for me now, heh. I love his power too, it took me awhile to come up with that. He was the character I logged the most with in the shortest amount of time, at least until Sara came along. And the whole relationship with Jess, right from Day 1, was just awesome. Certainly the best 'ship of which I've ever had the pleasure to play a part.
2. tnc!Sara - I bet a lot of you thought she'd be number one, didn't you? XD My very first female character, which was a little intimidating, even though I'd been rping for ages by this time. Well, it didn't take long at all to get over that, no siree. My most active character ever, by a long shot. Sadly, I don't think I'll ever get to rp something as close and (hopefully!) mutually satisfying as Ruby/Sara. I still look back at some of those old logs, just 'cause. And then of course there's all the fic I wrote afterwards. ^_^;; There's just something about the character, whether it's my infatuation with Kristen Bell / Veronica Mars or the character's interactions in the game, there was just something that made me want to constantly log / post journal entries with her. Sadly, it's a spark I've not had since tnc closed.
So of course this leaves only one person left, which must be...
1. btx!Paul - My very first journal rp character, a modification from a PC I had in my IRC days of rping. (tnc!Sara / Haywire was an NPC I made from my IRC days incidentally, though the original version was male.) With Paul I was never really sure if I was playing an OC or just playing how I'd react myself, which is probably a bad thing, but after awhile he found his own voice. :D There were a number of great relationships, while not as intense as some of the aforementioned tnc ones, they certainly dwarf them in number... Jimmy, Sally, Wanda, Paige, Lila, Heather, and of course Grace. My first ever ship! Other characters I've had may have lasted longer, or may have burned brighter, but none have been better. :)
Ok, it's going for 2am, holy the crap. Thank Godtomorrow's today's Friday, I say. *scurries off to bed!*
