So, getting ready to head out in a bit. It's funny, I should be happy to be getting out of the house for a change, but where I went out to the city all last weekend I was planning on having a nice, quiet weekend to myself. I'm sure it'll be fun and all, but I won't be sleeping in my own comfy bed tonight, and likely won't sleep in. Plus I was up hella late last night and never really slept in as much as I'd like today, heh. And Monday morning I have this volunteer stuff which requires me to be up at 6:30am. Woe! It could be much worse, but I'm good at finding things to complain about, apparently. :)
I think I'll burn a cd for the trip down, it's about a 45 minute drive or so. That'll give me something to do until I leave in about an hour's time or so. We're having supper there too, which will be nice. I think the only reason I'm a little apprehensive about it is because I have to leave at 4 and I won't get back until aftre lunch tomorrow, which means it's a huge chunk of my weekend gone. But what do I have planned to do here? Nothing! Just play a little SWG maybe, listen to music, chat... the same stuff I do all week, heh. It's stupid of me to not want to go. But I'm going, and that's it. Yup.
Ooh, maybe I'll burn a copy of Bleed American. I've had the mp3s for years now, and that's what got me hooked on the band, not when The Middle was huge, heh. And I have what I think is the inernational release version, or something. I bought the North American album around Christmas time, and while it's better sound quality and all since it's on cd, a lot of the songs are different. And I don't like them nearly as much as the mp3s I have. Especially the very first song, A Praise Chorus. They sing lines from Crimson and Clover on the NA release, but I prefer the mp3 I have where they sing "Fast action, come on, come on, come on..." etc. during that part. This probably makes no sense to most of you. >.> But yes, trust me, the mp3 I have sounds way, way cooler.
Boy, those two logs I roleplayed last night were probably two of the longest I've ever done. Woohoo! Even managed to bang out a quick rp with Nat before I fell into bed at 5ish. Go me!
Ok, time to go do stuff. Yes.
