Ok, I found out today that I have to appear in front of the Tax Court in St. John's tomorrow morning, for not one but two appeals. One I've been working on for awhile, not knowing that I'd be the one doing the court appearance, and the other I just read on the way back from regular ol' court this morning with the boss. Holy crap, it's kinda exciting but also scares the crap out of me. Luckily it's not in a real court house, as the real Tax Court is in Ottawa somewhere. It's just a judge and staff in a conference room somewhere, and it's relaxed procedure so no biggie. But! I have to call witnesses and maybe cross examine people (I doubt the Crown will call anyone though, but still!).

I really, really, really hope I don't screw this up for the clients. One is pretty much a simple matter, the one my boss gave me, but the other might be trickier. And if we lose, well, the client will have to pay back money the government gave her from a mistake the government made! It's just not fair, I really hope I can help. :/

Anyway, most of y'all will be gone 'cause of Thanksgiving and all, so I won't miss much in the way of rps and all I guess. I'll likely be online from time to time anyway, at my parents or my sisters. Oh yeah, 'cause I'll be in the city all day tomorrow, I'm taking Friday off and making it a long weekend, so I won't be here is what I'm saying. I'll still likely be online though. *nods*
