Dear Author letter - Yuletide 2014!

Hi dear author,

First off, thank you for writing me something, and I'm sure I'll love whatever it is you decide to write! I can't wait to see what you come up with, and hopefully you've had fun writing it as well.

I'm not all that picky when it comes to requests, as you'll no doubt see when you read my notes below. Happy endings, sad endings, major character death, angst, all are ok with me. The only things I really don't want to see are incest, underage, rape/non-con, and dubcon, please.

I'm also open to Yuleporn fills, be it as my actual gift or as treats/drabbles. :)

With that being said, here's some more specific comments on the fandoms I've requested:

House of Lies - Clyde Oberholt, Doug Guggenheim, Jeannie Van Der Hooven, Marty Kaan

I've only recently discovered this show through the magic of Netflix, which only has seasons one and two, but I do love it so. The group dynamic is awesome and I love how they all interact with each other. I'd love to see something featuring all four of them together on a job, either winding down at night (out partying more likely), or recovering the next morning.

I'm not a fan of Jeannie/Marty so I'd rather not see that please, I actually don't ship any of them with each other for that matter.


Log Horizon - Akatsuki, Naotsugu, Shiroe

My wife turned me onto this series and I'm loving it. I don't usually watch much anime at all but this is definitely an exception. I'm especially fond of Akatsuki and how badass she is. We don't see enough of it on the show for my liking, so I'd really love to see something where she gets to kick butt big time. Maybe the three of them adventuring as a small party, that'd rock. You can feel free to throw in others if you'd like to flesh out the party or whatnot, as long as it focuses on them.

I don't really ship anyone in this either, even though the show clearly has Akatsuki crushing on Shiroe, but if you'd like to include that it's ok by me, as long as there's lots of action. :)


Newsflesh Trilogy - Mira Grant - Shaun Mason, Georgia Mason, Buffy Meissonier

I'm still reading this series and am on the final book. I actually got spoiled a little from last year's Yuletide (which I'll leave out how/why for anyone else reading this just in case!) but I still love it. I'd love something set in the first book or a prequel even, maybe the three of them starting up the After the End Times or something like that. That would be pretty awesome.

Even though they're adopted, I really don't ship George/Shaun fyi, so please please don't write that, but other than that I'm ok with any other ships or pairings you want to write. Feel free to include others if you'd like as well in the story, as long as the three of them are the main characters.


Zombieland (2009) - Columbus, Wichita

This fandom needs more fic for sure, which I think I say every year, haha. I ship these two hardcore and would love to see anything with them both in it, preferably set after the end of the movie but anything you'd like to write would be awesome. Feel free to include Little Rock and/or Tallahassee if you'd like but I'm more of a fan of these two.
