canadiandiamondHope everyone had a nice weekend! Mine was very relaxing, which was great, and yet I still feel like I accomplished a lot and got a lot of things done, which is always nice.
Friday night I ended up staying up way too late online and in game with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
believeitup, which was very fun, don't get me wrong, but I'd planned to get to sleep earlier than 5am, especially since I was originally getting up at 8-8:30am the next morning to leave for St. John's by 9-9:30am, whoops. That didn't happen, however I was up by 9:45am and out the door by 10:30am so it wasn't too, too bad. I had a lot of coffee and made it in to see a friend I've not seen since well before Christmas (come to think of it the last time I saw him it was his birthday, wow), and his new puppy, a mini schnauser who's just adorable omg. Then we had brunch before meeting up with another friend and seeing Hot Tub Time Machine in a theater we had all to ourselves. It was pretty damn funny, omg, very similar to The Hangover to me and just as funny.
After that I headed back home and hopped back in game to help the kin with what turned out to be yet more fruitless attempts at the hardest raid in the game, sigh. One of these days, maybe. It was actually an earlier night than Friday night, funny enough, and I got to sleep in nice and late on Sunday. All I did on Sunday was watch hockey and some episodes of Mad Men, and a little gaming thrown in for good measure (we did some older raids in the game and knocked those out of the park, yay for sense of accomplishment and actually winning at something! \o/) before bedtime. I even got a little reading in, something I haven't really done since my trip to Philly, so that was nice too.
This week looks to be a busy one at the office, today aside - appointments jammed in for Tuesday and Thursday, and in the city for court/discoveries all day Wednesday and most of Friday - but hopefully that'll make it go by faster, and oh yeah, the real estate transaction is due to close on Friday, so we should be home owners by the end of the week, so we've got that going for us, which is nice. :)
