Pirating some WiFi from Mr. Sub in Atlantic Place, shh. I will buy a sub to make up for this if I don't hear back from Shawn re: lunch plans in due course.
Got a lovely seat looking out at the Harbour. It's cold and a little windy out there today, the water's a bit choppy and white, looks nice from here but I bet it's not so nice out on the water. And then there's the bubble. XD Thankfully Atlantic Place is far enough up that I have no view of that.
Am enjoying a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato, made with a hazelnut shot instead of vanilla, which I learned from this awesome barista I know. The server kinda gave me a raised eyebrow at that; not sure if that was out of being impressed or just wtf, hehe. It tastes good though and that's all that matters, and is warm and tasty in my belleh.
I have court again at 2pm here, which means I have nearly 3 hours to kill. It's cold, as previously stated, and my car's parked so I am loathe to move it again, even if they do offer you a receipt once you've paid the maximum so you can return later. I originally planned to walk up to the Bagel Cafe but, well. Coooooold. I have a winter coat but that's in the car waaaaay up on 'O' level, wah, so just gonna stay here. I called my friend Shawn to see if wants to either meet me here row pick me up for lunch, so we'll see. If he calls soon we can do that but if not I guess I kinda owe Mr. Sub one, don't I?
In conclusion, my iPad rocks and am so glad I got it. Yay for updating LJ from here and e-mailing and such as well! \o/ Hope everyone else is having a good day and that you have a good weekend too! Hanging out with my cousin tonight, the raiding, then a Scotch tasting party tomorrow night. Good times! :)
