It's been a pretty good weekend, all in all. Pretty much exactly like the last few, I stayed at home and got caught up on sleep and played a lot of LOTRO with [livejournal.com profile] believeitup, which was nice. Yesterday afternoon was the exception to that, when she played some tabletop gaming with [livejournal.com profile] onlyonechoice and others, while I got caught up with BSG and finally watched the series finale. I won't spoil anything for people who haven't seen it yet, but wow, very awesome indeed. So glad I got into that show and was able to watch the last half of it or so in realtime with everyone else.

Work has been going fairly well as of late, which is a good thing. This week should be pretty busy, then there's a small lull before it picks up again. Really there's nothing too, too bad between now and May, thankfully, which is a good thing. I really want May to get here a.s.a.p. even if there were a lot of difficult things to tackle between now and then, but not having much of that is nice too, heh.

I'm doing way better on the whole missing [livejournal.com profile] believeitup front, which isn't to say that I miss her any less of course, but I'm dealing with it a lot better. I think part of that is realizing that we're over the halfway mark now - a little more than 1 month, 3 weeks until I see her again, and it's been over 2 months since we last did, so we're getting there. If that makes sense. It was harder knowing it had only been a few weeks since I'd last been with her and still had 3-4 months to go, etc., but at least now there's more time apart behind us than in front of us, huzzah! :)

I've started watching Season 7 of Scrubs that I got for Christmas from my sister, and I'm not sure why I didn't start it sooner. I think it's because I've been busy with work and LOTRO and all, and was barely keeping up with BSG, but now that that's done I can start spending time watching other shows. I also bought Season 2 of Six Feet Under since it was on sale, even though I still haven't cracked open Season 1 of it that I bought ages ago, oops. Just another nut to store away for the winter, I suppose. Maybe I'll get around to that after I finish Scrubs, we'll see.

Randomly, I need some BSG icons.

This weekend has flown by it seems. Friday wasn't quite as bad as today, since I had time to have a little nap after work, but it still seemed to go by quickly. After work I popped into Wal-Mart and indulged myself by buying two movies, There Will Be Blood and Walk Hard. Then I came home, had supper followed by the aforesaid nap, then played a little LOTRO and watched the new Battlestar Galactica before going to sleep.

Today was more of the same really. I got up at what for me was a decent hour on a weekend, then put on There Will Be Blood and watched that and all the special features (not much to them really, sadly) while playing more LOTRO with [livejournal.com profile] believeitup. Then I went out for some supper and put on Walk Hard and its special features while, you guessed it, playing more LOTRO with [livejournal.com profile] believeitup. I've just been hanging out online in general, watching the repeat broadcast of tonight's SNL since I missed the first, and talking to people I haven't talked to in awhile since then, to be followed very soon by sleep.

Sunday I don't really have any plans, though one of my best friends is going to be out from the city for the day so I imagine part of it will involve hanging out with him. I should really put in an hour or so of work too, though we'll see how that pans out.

Right now though sleep sounds good, so off to bed I go!

Nothing much new to report here. I did actually have a two day trial last week that I clued up in Thursday, so I didn't do much at all this long, long weekend after all of that. I watched a ton of BSG and played a lot of LOTRO (hence the pics below, which are 1680x1050 thanks to my new 21.6" LCD monitor) and that was about it, heh.

We had Friday and today off from the office, though I really should pop in for a little bit this afternoon. I have to anyway, since I have court in the a.m. in the city and I need to pick up my materials. After that it's off to the city and hopefully meeting up with some people I think.

That's about it for now, I've gotta take off so I'll leave you with the pictures. :)

Aegor standing outside of the Prancing Pony in Bree.

Caleb and others getting ready for a big fight. Thankfully it wouldn't be against Thorog, though the Nazgul on the right put up a good fight too (we won though!).

Caleb and others in the Rift, fighting the huge and scary Barz. I hate that guy (we didn't win).

I left the interface up this time so you can see how much is going on at once in these raids, and also to show how much health Barz has. 137,260 x.x

Ognaw cowering beneath a cave painting in Goblin Town that is eerily similar to his mother-in-law. His words, not mine!

Caleb gazing skyward at a dragon that we had to take down.

About to lead the charge at said dragon. Knives out!

Once again it's been a long time since I made a post here. I've been mainly busy with work and with LOTRO-ing it up when I come home from work, which has been made 100% more addictive with the addition of [livejournal.com profile] believeitup and [livejournal.com profile] girlyduck to Middle Earth. I finally hit Level 50 with my main character last night, which is the current level cap until they release an expansion or something of that nature. It took me long enough, it's been almost a year since the open beta started where us Founders were allowed to create characters that would remain active when the game went live last April. There's still a lot to do when you hit 50 thankfully, since there's no actual information when there'll be an expansion to that game. Aside from that I still have 4 other characters to work on, the highest of which is only 24 and everyone else is well under 20 so I still have a lot to do (unlike one of the guys in our guild who has all of the server limit of 5 characters at 50, haha).

I've also started watching Battlestar Galactica, though given the work/MMORPG time I've put in lately I'm still only on the first half of season one. I'm really enjoying it so far though and I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes.

I also got a wicked cramp in my left leg this morning and have been limping around since then, ugh. That's what I get for spending too damn long on the computer yesterday I suppose. I also got a call from a buddy of mine I haven't seen in awhile to go to a get together in St. John's, and there's another one I was going to go to as well but because of my leg and the crappy weather I think I should just stay at home and mope about. There's a lot of movies/tv I want to get through, not to mention books to read and writing I'd like to do, maybe I'll just make it a quiet night in instead. Especially since I know next Saturday it's my friend's 30th birthday and I need to go into the city for that since I haven't seen her since she got married last summer, ugh. We shall see how that goes!
