My first rp character ever, made by fine-tuning a character I made for Generation-X, an old irc sim I was in. Surprisingly, for all the detailed past, power explanations, etc., he kinda turned out the same: bland. He's just in the far, far background, more so since he and Grace have been inseparable lately. And chances are that she'll be gone soon, so I have no idea what to do with him. Part of me wants to take him out too, but he was the first dammit and I do like playing him. It's just hard to find people to play with.

Speaking of hard to find people to play with, heh. Rusty was supposed to spend way more time with Sally in a little brother capacity, but other plots and stuff got in the way. Then he started hanging out with other kids, most notably Kaya, and then things got messed up there too. I think he'll be one of the kids going with Frost when she leaves soon, and though I don't want to totally write him off, I can't see him coming back any time soon.

Neal was a character I wanted to play in an earlier irc sim that never quite made it off of the ground. I probably should have known better than to think I could play a character from such a different background and such that I know nothing about, but I tried anyway. Things got complicated with him too, with the whole Phoebe / Sophie business, and he's pretty much been invisible ever since. I try to get him out, but it's hard to find things for him to do. He'll probably be leaving soon, as soon as I have time to sit down and do up a narrative or something.

It's funny, 'cause I didn't want to really use this character at all until someone coaxed me into applying for him. And he's probably the one who's gotten the most action (literally and figuratively speaking heh), likely 'cause he's freakin' Cyclops. All my other chars, except Warren I suppose, are minor characters in the Marvel 'verse, and most of the plots and events in game don't involve them. With Scott, though, there's a lot going on to keep him busy and such. It was such a difference to go from being exasperated with Paul / Rusty to having Scott and then rping like crazy. I was also scared that I couldn't pull him off, but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. I mean, pfft, it's nowhere near perfect hehe, but I don't feel as intimidated playing him now as I used to. He's the only character that I'm positive I don't want to drop, unless I end up having to drop rps altogether or something.

linesblur said, I was asked to play Warren, and he's basically there to... well, I don't want to get into it, in case the whole plot thing is all seekrit or something heh. It just seems like I'm going through the motions with him, at times. Also? I suck at the whole being a playa bit, I should've known that before I got into it all, but it's too late now. He was really fun at first, but then complications arose and now everything I do with him feels a little forced.

In conclusion, I need to catch up with, like, all of these characters sometime soon, or at least finalize what I'm going to do with them. >.>
