Dec. 3rd, 2008

Ugh, so tired this morning. A combination of a headache, staying up too late, and general crabbiness on my part lead to a night of tossing, turning, and fretting, all of which was remedied by a late night call to [livejournal.com profile] believeitup. I have a bad habit of letting little things addle me more than they should lately, but last night was the first time it actually affected my sleep. Let's hope that's the only time it does, especially on weeknights. Thankfully I have an amazing fiancée to help me cope with it all, and incidentally, today is the 2nd anniversary of the day we finally decided to start dating, huzzah! *hugs to her* ♥

Other than that little hiccup, the week has been going well so far. I was a little sick yesterday morning and stayed home to rest up but that illness has passed for now. I was supposed to have a 3 day trial from Monday past up to and including today but that got settled on the 11th hour on Friday past, so I've had the first 3 days of this week to get paperwork done and to catch up on things, yesterday morning aside, so that's helped a lot. I don't have anything else penciled in for the rest of the week either, aside from one appointment, so here's hoping I can get lots done in the next little while in anticipation of my trip to Philadelphia in just 17 days from now.

Speaking of work, I should get back to it. [livejournal.com profile] girlyduck was right though, typing in here does keep one awake, heh. I should grab a glass of water to help with that (kinda wish I did drink coffee at the moment but alas!), or ooh, maybe hot chocolate, and then get back to work. Thankfully it's Wednesday and the week's half over!

[eta] Mmm, hot chocolate, so worth it even if the kettle tripped the circuit breaker in the photocopy room twice while it was boiling. Apparently we cannot boil water and copy documents at the same time.
