Things have been pretty busy lately, I haven't been updating very much at all as of late. They're going well over all though, which is a plus. Work is pretty busy but not too, too bad I suppose. We're having our Christmas party tonight, which is basically a nice supper at a local restaurant and then just hanging out, I imagine. At my old office we'd have 3 parties: one at the hotel where all the businesses would have a dinner and dance, one with the courthouse staff that was also a dinner and dance, and one at the office on the last day we were open for Christmas, with a dinner and Secret Santa / drinks with all the staff and their family. All those events had family included really, and our dinner tonight is just us, no family or significant others invited. Not that I could take anyone to it anyway (Boston is a long ways away, le sigh) but it just feels different. Plus I wasn't in on the Secret Santa either, boourns.

I mailed off all my Christmas cards at the beginning of lunch, so that's good. And a present too, leaving just a few here that I plan to distribute in person on my next trip to the city. All that's left giftwise is for a stupid parcel to arrive so I can mail it out to its intended recipient and to get something for my sister, really. I think we have ideas for mom and dad and will go halves on those gifts. Oh, and one more thing for my best friend Shawn, I've got a shirt for him from Married To The Sea but need to toss in a DVD or CD or something with it.

Alright, it's only lunch time so back to work with me. I hope this week goes by quickly, I'm really looking forward to Christmas break, phew.
