are you ready?

Saw Blue Rodeo tonight, very awesome show. They did some fairly obscure songs, which I thought was awesome, along with all the usual songs. My seat was second row, all the way to the right but it was a fairly small setup so I was still very close to the band. avalonmissy and lethendy had literally the best seats in the house - front row, dead center. I got to talk to them before and after the show, which was nice, and they also had backstage passes and got to meet the band.

At the show, people got up near the stage to dance about half way through the show, at the band's behest. Everyone had their own assigned seats for the show, by the way, but people were standing up in front of the stage and dancing and security came to make them sit down again. The band actually stopped playing and got security to leave them alone, once they asked them if it was a fire code issue or not (it wasn't). That was pretty cool, such an awesome band.

Other than that, no plans at all for the rest of the weekend. Might go see a movie tomorrow, not sure what but I think I haven't seen most of what's out, so it should be no problem picking something out. I have movie money to spend, so that's cool. :D Might get to hang out with some friends perhaps, and other than that I'll just be keeping my sister company, as her boyfriend is working for most of tomorrow. Should be fun, I hope.

I should probably try to get some sleep so I won't be too tired tomorrow. Today was a good day, yay! ^_^
