Well now, I got to finish off some more Christmas shopping tonight, online. I got two books, one for my cousin and one for my friend. All I need now is... *think* ...one DVD my sister mentioned for her, something extra for mom, annnnnnnnnnnd that's about it. Oh, and something for my other two cousins here, since I'm getting their brother one of those books heh. Getting there!
Today at work was cool, the boss took us out for drinks about an hour earlier than we're supposed to go home, and paid for them too. It's going to be a new Friday tradition at the office, woo! Good times, people. Work is going well in general too, though there's a few files that are starting to bug me a lot. I need to nip those in proverbial bud soon heh. Other than that, it's a-ok.
I should really do my Christmas cards this weekend too, and send them out on Monday. There are rumblings about a possible Canada Post strike next week, that would suck like crazy. I meant to do the cards last weekend but ended up in town because of court and all, and hung out with Pam a lot, which I don't regret in the slightest, hehe. :D I probably would've went back in this weekend to see her again, if not for the fact that she's not in there now. I might get to hang with her again before Christmas, maybe. We'll see what happens anyway, I still have a gift to give her which I hope she'll enjoy. ^_^
I watched Cube tonight, a Canadian film. It was quite cool, for a lower budget movie and all. I guess you'd calle it horror, maybe? No, probably sci-fi/horror, or... something, heh. I liked it. I also have Cool Hand Luke to watch, which I haven't yet. And Spiderman 2 which I bought on Tuesday, and I still have Buffy and Seinfeld to watch... yeah, I'm good for awhile. :)
Also got to talk with some really good friends online that I haven't talked to in forever, or so it seems. So that's been great. :D It's nice to slow down this weekend and sleep in my own bed for a change, I've kinda missed that. I slept in it all week, but that was on weeknights and I couldn't sleep in then. Tomorrow? omg I'll be lucky if I see the light of day, my friends. Though I need to hit the mall and get that DVD for my sister, and maybe browse the small bookstore here for something for mom. I'd also like to read this book by Roméo Dallaire about the role he played in Rwanda with the UN, I don't know much about the whole thing and it looks like a good book, maybe. Not that I don't have enough to read already, gah! And write! I haven't touched my NaNo project since I hit the 50k mark hehe. That's probably good though, a break from it might help in the long run.
I think I'll go read some magazines or something equally low brow for a change. Might as well give my brain a break this weekend too, hehe. :)
