Somebody needs to take my debit card away from me before I go broke. I went over to the mall today after learning that Hellboy was out in DVD, and also picked up a new Metallica EP just because it comes with a t-shirt. -.-;; Though I like the shirt hehe. But still! There was also a double Van Halen greatest hits dealie (though I already have their first hits compilation which has all the good stuff anyway), and a new double live acoustic Pearl Jam album. That's when I stopped looking at stuff, 'cause I figured I'd buy too much.
I'm such an impulse shopper, I think. They design their stores based around people like me, and it works. Luckily there's only this one big department store here, so there's not too much to tempt me. But then again, shopping online is pretty easy too. I need some willpower... wonder if I can find any on eBay? :D
Ooh, today was my first year anniversary at the job. And funny enough, the very first file I'd worked on exactly one year ago today, was finally paid by the clients today and closed. Hehe funny how that played out. And one of the other lawyers suggested I celebrate by having one of the big ol' freezies we had in the fridge! It'd been about a decade or more since I had one, and I ate this big honkin' orange one, hehe. It made my tongue and my teeth all orange, and of course as soon as I realized this there was a client waiting to see me. Eep! I think I got a lot of it out by drinking water and such. Note to self: bring a toothbrush to work from now on, just in case.
Anyway, today was a good day, and the week's half over, so yay! :D
