So, in less than 48 hours after posing questions about which kind of iPod is the best to get, I went out and purchased one. >.>; I got the 20GB model after all, as there was only one left at the store and they only had one pink mini left. XD Can't put any music on it yet though, as I don't wanna hassle with installing the software on my mom's office computer (the only one here with XP) and registering it here, plus 99.9% of my music is at my place, and I'd rather do it all on my own computer. I really wanted to try it out though, I have my copy of Jimmy Eat World's Futures here and all. :D
Watched The Incredibles again tonight with my sister and her boyfriend, such a fun movie. Also watched the special features this time around, or some of them anyway. Good times. We had Aliens vs. Predators to watch too, maybe I'll watch that tomorrow if I can.
Also got Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow since it was cheap, nevermind that I haven't finished the first one yet. >.>; It looks very cool though, so hopefully it'll inspire me to hurry up and finish the first one so I can dig into it.
Hmmm, it's 3am now. Just remembered that mom might actually wake us up to go to church tomorrow morning, so maybe I should go to bed. I'll just take a stab at this meme thingy first. ^^;;
1. Am somewhat obsessive / compulsive, though not so much anymore. Mostly when I was younger, and mostly with things like... oh, touching a door knob with both hands instead of one, or an odd number of times instead of even. >.>;
2. Sometimes spell words backwards and pronounce them that way in my head when I'm bored.
3. Play Minesweeper like a couple of dozen times a day at least.
4. Declared a Math / Physics double major when applying for university.
5. Very quickly changed that to a Computer Science, major, thankyouverymuch.
6. Applied late to write the LSAT, send off my applications for law school on a Friday when the deadline for them was the next Monday, and still find it hard to believe I actually got in.
7. Won my first ever case in court. :D
8. Never drank at all before I was 19 (legal age here). Turned 19, knew I was going to live in residence for my 2nd year of uni and trained myself to drink for social occasions. :)
9. Was voted Treasure of my residence after my frosh year, running against the then Vice-President and winning. Probably the happiest time in my life, or at least when I felt the proudest / most accepted.
10. Around the same time, asked the girl I'd ever had a crush on, since way back in Grade 6, to go to the house formal, and she said yes before proceeding to back out on the day of it. >.>;;
11. Had a song that I wrote and performed played on the radio.
12. Have never left North America, and only on one occasion have I left Canada.
13. Own almost every Sandra Bullock movie ever made. -.-;
14. Find it weird when friends from high school / university / law school get to meet each other. Like George Costanza said, worlds are colliding!
15. Stubbornly refused to use a protractor in high school, preferring to do stuff freehand for some reason.
16. Used to write short stories on the back of my high school French exams since I'd usually finish them early. Sacre bleu. -.-;;
17. Never attended one single high school dance.
18. Really worry about my health a lot lately, though that's mostly at night when I can't sleep.
19. Can play most music I hear on the radio by ear, not perfectly or anything but can figure it out if I have a guitar in my hand.
20. Really, really wish I could sing.
21. Used to have a Cabbage Patch Kid. Actually, he's probably upstairs somewhere. His name is Marc. >.> My sister had one and my parents thought I might get jealous or something, since they were hella popular and all. So I was given one too. Hey, why look a gift horse in the mouth?
22. My favourite stuffed toy was my Super Grover. He's probably kicking around somewhere too. Ah, Super Grover. You rock.
23. Once stuck a thermometer into a roast my mom was cooking, trying to be all smart and find out how hot it was. Of course it was an old fashioned glass one and it burst, spilling mercury all over the food and ruining it. I cried, heh. Stupid scientific curiousity!
24. Finished NaNo on my first try this November past.
25. Still have some postcards I bought at Signal Hill (
bunnytough knows where that is) wayyyyyy back in grade 5 or 6 wrapped up in the brown paper bag they came in, stashed away in a knitting book my mom owns. *checks to see if they're still there* Yup, they are. The receipt says 06-21-88 XD;;
26. Have had the same Hotmail address for about 10 years now.
27. Hardly ever throw anything away, I'm such a pack rat.
28. If I could go anywhere in the world, it'd probably be Italy.
29. Always wanted to be a lawyer growing up, funny enough.
30. Trained one of my younger cousins to say "Jeffrey is King" on demand, which he did for years, by the way.
31. Practically ran the computer support portion of the law library as a 3rd year student.
32. Am a slave to routine for the most part, it seems.
33. Get paranoid when people don't IM me / respond after awhile, though I've gotten much better with this lately.
34. Have a good sense of when people like other people, picking up on relationships before they happen.
35. Also have an uncanny ability to ask girls I know and haven't seen in awhile "How's <insert boyfriend's name here> doing?" only to hear they've been broke up for awhile now. -.-;;
36. Actually miss school, not for the work but for the social aspect.
37. Don't know if I'll be able to work at the same job until I retire, really.
38. Have no idea what else on earth I could do either.
39. Love to send and receive snail mail, which I should be working on right now actually.
40. Still have e-mails from 1998 saved on my computer. x.x
And yes, it's 4am now. That meme took an hour to do. Going to be sooooo tired if I do get dragged to church tomorrow. >.>;;
