canadiandiamond: (Let's go!)
It feels like it's a Saturday night because I'm still in the city. I've got court in the morning and while it should be quick and relatively painless (for me at least) I'm still a little -.-; over it. No reason for that at all, but oh well. That's just how it goes sometimes I suppose.

The weekend was good, and last night's party was a success. Friday night was just me at home rping a little and playing Ultimate Alliance which I finally found. Yesterday I came in here, saw The Departed, then got dressed up and headed to the Hallowe'en party. We had a theme party, wherein you had to dress up as a song and not tell anyone what it was. There were some good ones... one guy was just dressed normally with a bunch of razor blades on his shirt (ZZ Top's Sharp Dressed Man XDDDDD) and someone else had a lie detector around their waist (Shakira's Hips Don't Lie, oy). I went as Pantera's Cowboys From Hell, and since no one there listened to metal really they didn't guess it, hehe. It was fun, though I still have traces of red makeup from the stuff I put on my hands and face. Most of it is gone, and I hope the rest will be gone by tomorrow morning too. It was worth it though, a fun party and I even added some numbers to my phone! Well, just one, and only from this nicee girl who I've known for awhile, which I doubt would go anywhere but still, I can still say I got one. XD Stephanie was there too but let's not get into that, hehe.

Today I hung out with people, got the new My Chemical Romance cd and Dawn of the Dead, the 4 disc edition that was just $17.50 @ Wal-Mart, then I saw Marie Antoinette. Good times! I wish I knew more about the French Revolution though, it probably would've helped me get more out of it, but it's all good. The nearly nude Kirsten Dunst scenes gorgeous cinematography was well worth it in and of itself. :D

Ok, off to bed now. I should be back home tomorrow and easier to reach for rp / tags. Sorry to people in tags with me that've dragged on because of this weekend, that should be fixed tomorrow! :)

Someone linked me to an article saying that Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip is due to be cancelled any day now. I don't know if this is true but I thought it was doing well. Then again I haven't been checking its numbers or anything, I wouldn't even know how to do that, but apparently it loses like half of the audience the lead-in Heroes brings with it. It would suck if it's cancelled, I'm really liking it a lot. That's the way it goes, I think. So Smallville better watch out since I'm getting into it now. XD
