So, I put out a warrant for someone's arrest today, after being a Crown Attorney for all of five minutes. Granted, I was only an agent for the Crown today, as for scheduling reasons no one else could be there, but still. It was weird, and I know when someone doesn't show after signing a Promise to Appear or an Undertaking, etc., the Crown usually does ask for a warrant, but I wasn't sure what to do. There wasn't even a judge there today, so one of the Justices of the Peace was on the bench, who suggested that a warrant for their arrest should be issued, so I was all "Yes, that's the Crown procedure in this case... so yes, the Crown would ask for a warrant to be issued, please." Oh my. I'm glad I was only in that position for five minutes, hehe.
Work is ok so far today, though I've a few appointments this afternoon. We'll see how that goes. And tonight is another new episode of Lost, I do believe. Good times! :D
[eta] Quasi-spoilers for Lost contained in the comments. Nothing serious, I don't think, but you've been warned! :)
