I'm finally back home at my aunt's, and I have work tomorrow. D'oh. It was a short break, and pretty much the whole time I was like "ack! I have work soon!" Even on Wednesday, I woke up and was like, 'well, break's half-over. *woe*' -.-;; So yeah, it's over now. And tonight I have to go to bed early! :o But them's the breaks.
All in all, it was a good break. I got a ton of DVDs and CDs, which I probably shouldn't have done. But hey, I got Garden State and watched it finally last night, and now a lot of
aberrantgirl's icons and such make sense to me! :D Such a cool movie, Natalie Portman was so adorable in it. Napoleon Dynamite was cool too, and I must say I feel a little like Kip now, sitting here and typing on teh interweb. Though no hot babes are online at the moment, hehe.
I did find out, though, that the stupid student loan people have been taking payments out of my bank account on the sly. It's an account I don't use anymore, I just have it open because I have a loan with that bank, and I transfer just enough there each month to cover that. Luckily I also have an overdraft on it, from when I used it more often. And I discovered that the student loan people have used up 99% of that limit in the last month or so. >.< Bastards. And they were set to take more the day after I found out, which would mean NSF for that payment and I would've got dinged with an extra fee or something, I'm sure. Luckily I put the money in there in time, though now I'm pretty much broke until I get things straightened out. Which is funny, since they paid me at work before I left. I normally get paid on the 15th and last days of the month, so when I came home on the 24th, I had whatever bit of $ left from the 15th, plus my Christmas bonus, plus my paycheque from the 31st. So I was all like "woohoo! cash money!" and bought too much stuff. Now I am broke. ;_;
I enjoyed the whole 'not thinking about work' bit though. That was severely needed, omg. Tomorrow's going to be a beeyotch though, I just know it. But I'm all rested and I can deal with it. I hope. And I have so much rp stuff to catch up on, it's not even funny. I should do that now before it gets too late. And I wanna work on my NaNo story some more, talked my poor cousin's ear off about it on the drive back, hehe. And it gave me new ideas for it and such. Plus I've had a whole month off without thinking about it, so time to start it up again!
There's sooooooo much to watch though. My sister and her boyfriend finished Season 4 of Angel and wouldn't shut up about how cool and crazy it was, and me? I've only seen the first episode on disc 2, hehe. Have to watch that soon. And I have Moonlight Mile and the whole first season of Arrested Development from zip.ca to watch and mail back asap. Plus all the Christmas movies. Oy. But I'm pretty much stuck here now, until the weather gets better. Though it's still ok. Might try to make a quick trip to the city this coming weekend to see my friend before she goes back to London, weather abiding. Then it's time to batten down the hatches and bask in the DVD goodness. Oh and the cds too. I got The Rasmus cd 'cause it was super cheap and because
happy_melody said it was good. It'd better be! :o hehe Ditto with The Killers, I hear they're hip with the kids. And so am I! :D And Pink Floyd's The Wall is just classic, baby. \m/ >.< \m/ And Gwen Stefani is cool. ^_^
Well, I should go and unpack / clean up / generally rearrange my room. Hoo boy, it'll be hard to do all that. I might take pics once it's done to show y'all. I have many new posters up now too, heh. Word. And pics from Christmas too, that I should post as well. Maybe I will! But for now, time to listen to music and attempt to clean up this mofo. Peace out!
And oh yeah, Happy New Year and such. Woo!
